Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Pamgoo LLC ("we", "us") collects when you use Localize Your App (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and password hash when you register.
• Project data: the localization strings, translations, glossary entries, and translation memory you create by using the Service.
• Uploaded files: parsed in memory to extract keys and strings, then discarded. The files themselves are never stored on our servers.
• Payment data: purchases are processed by Paddle.com as merchant of record. We receive transaction records (what you bought, when) but never your card or bank details.
• Usage data: privacy-focused website analytics (page views, referrers) and server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and debugging.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to provide the Service (including generating translations), process payments, respond to support requests, secure the Service, and send transactional email such as receipts and password resets. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing email without your consent.

3. AI translation processing

To translate your strings, we transmit the source text (and relevant context such as glossary terms) to third-party AI model providers via OpenRouter. Only the strings being translated are transmitted — never your account details. We use API access under terms that do not permit providers to train models on your content.

4. Service providers

We share data only with processors needed to run the Service: hosting infrastructure, Paddle (payments), OpenRouter and its underlying AI model providers (translation), an email delivery provider (transactional mail), and privacy-focused analytics. Each receives only what its function requires.

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are required for the Service to function: session and authentication cookies, and a CSRF token. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Data retention and deletion

Project data is retained while your account is active so translation memory can keep working for you. If you delete a project, its strings and translations are deleted. If you delete your account, all associated personal data and project data are deleted, except transaction records we must retain for tax and accounting law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the GDPR if you are in the EEA or UK), you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict processing of, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us — we respond to all requests within 30 days.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to what operating the Service requires. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date.
